Location Lat 4 51' S Long 145 48' E Cape Croisilles is located on the north coast of New Guinea. Borders the North Coast Road on the inland side. Located roughly four miles to the south is Alexishafen. Today located in Madang Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Wartime History During 1943, occupied by the Japanese Army. This location was along the barge route for traffic from Hansa Bay southward to Alexishafen and Madang. At the end of April 1944, liberated by the Australian Army.
