Lat 8° 24' 43" South  Long 147° 24' 13" East  Mount Albert Edward is an extinct volcano comprised of East Dome and West Dome in roughly the center of the Owen Stanley Range of New Guinea. Also known as Mt. Albert Edward. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of Papua. Today located in Central Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG) near the border between Central Province and Oro Province (Northern Province). Mount Albert Edward highest elevation is 13,091' / 3,990m is the sixth tallest mountain in Papua New Guinea.
