Location
The Solomon Islands is an island chain that borders the South Pacific Ocean. Also known as simply the Solomons or abbreviated SI. This island chain is comprised of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate (BSIP). Today, the independent sovereign state of Solomon Islands.
