Location
Lat 10° 5' 60S Long 123° 45' 0E  Puluti is located on the southwest of West Timor on Timor Island. wartime spellings Penfoei or Penfui. Also spelled Poeloeti or Poeloetih. Prewar and during World War II part of Dutch Timor in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). In 1949 after Indonesia independence, the western half of Timor Islandbecame Indonesian Timor. Today located in West Timor (Timor Barat) in East Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Timur) in Indonesia.

Wartime History
During 1942 occupied by the Japanese. Starting in early December 1942 attacked by Allied planes until the end of the Pacific War. Occupied by the Japanese until the end of the Pacific War.

December 2, 1942–August 2, 1944

Poeloeti Airfield (Penfoei, Penfui)
