Location
Pis Island is located in Truk Lagoon in Chuuk State (Truk) in the Federated States of Micronesia. Also known as Piis Island. To the east is North Pass (Mochonap) and Tonelik Island (Pisemew Ne Shima, Ko Shima).
Wartime History
During the Pacific War, Pis Island was fortified with defenses to protect the entrance of North Pass
(Mochonap).
