Trinity Site atomic device "gadget" 1 millisecond after detonation at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) near Alamogordo in New Mexico
This photograph was taken 1 millisecond after the detonation taken from seven miles away with an exposure of 1/100,000,000 of a second. The atomic device was atop a 100' steel tower designated ground zero.
