Ian Whitney
Aircraft recovery and restorer
Ian Whitney resides in Romsey, Victoria. During the early 1970s, Whitney traveled to Papua New Guinea and salvaged aircraft wreckage and parts from several locations. During 1998–2005, made trips to Finschafen Airfield recovering aircraft wreckage and parts. Ian Whitney has been involved with aircraft including:

Salvaged November 1989, owned by Ian Whitney during 1989-1991 sold to Graham Hoskings, today displayed at RNZAF Museum.
