Location
Lat 8° 9' 0S Long 131° 0' 0E  Selaru Island is located in the Tanimbar Island Group (Tanimbar Islands). Also spelled Selaroe, Selaor and Poelau. Prewar and during the Pacific War, located in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Maluku Province (Provinsi Maluku) in Indonesia.

Lingar (Lingat)
Lingar is located at the center southern coast of Selaru Island also known as Lingat.
