Lat 35° 12' 55" S Long 149° 8' 41" E  Treloar Technology Centre (Australian War Memorial Annex) displays and stores larger items in the Australian War Memorial (AWM) collection that are not displayed at the main Australian War Memorial (AWM). Guided tours are provided by staff to small groups and by appointment. The centre displays important items including a boat from the Gallipolli landing, the gun off German raider SMS Emden. Also, a huge collection of guns and mortars that were taken as trophies after World War I and given to Australian towns in appreciation for their contributions to the war effort.

WWII Pacific Collection
A number of significant aircraft and other military artifacts are included in their collection. Including the other Type A Midget Submarine that raided Sydney Harbor. Also, several Pacific aircraft are under restoration or stored in the Annex.

Fuselage only, sealed and suspended about 5m off the ground for long term storage

Type 95 Ha Go Medium Tank
Recovered from Milne Bay, aquired from Melbourne Tank Museum, stored at AWM annex

Captured on Borneo, exported to Australia, stored at AWM Annex

World War II Europe
The AWM Annex collection includes a V-2 rocket and launch Trailer. This mobile trailer is the only such example left in the world. Also, an Me-109G, the only airframe in the world left in its original war camouflage scheme. Me 262 affectionately know as "Black X" Wk Nr 500200 and Me-163 were formerly displayed at the Annex. A T-34 tank, and several German guns and weapons.
