Located at Ardmore Airport, Pioneer Aero Restoration Ltd. was founded in 1997 from the assets of Pacific Aircraft Ltd. The company has been involved with many restorations, primarily restoring P-40s for clients around the world, plus their own restoration projects.

Recovered from Tadji in 1974, restoration begun at Pacific Aircraft Ltd, restored to flying status in 2000

Restoration begun by Pacific Aircraft Ltd restoration completed by Pioneer to flying status

Fuselage, tail, wings and engine were restored at Pioneer Aero during 2000s.

Purchased 2001 restoration work began, offered for sale, purchased by Potter collection

Owned by Keith Hopper under restoration

P-40N Kittyhawk NZ3125
Recovered from Rukuhia disposals site in New Zealand, restored to flying status

OS2U Kingfisher A48-2
Arrived late April 2015 underwent a restoration assessment and will be restored to flying condition.
