The Schwimner War Museum is located at the former 14 Mile Drome (Schwimner) near Port Moresby. The museum includes a collection of war relics found in the airfield area by founder Thomas Rei during the middle 2000s to the present day. The collection includes many U.S. Army dog tags that were dropped or dumped in the area, including dog tags of personnel who went Missing In Action (MIA) on combat missions. Over the years, Thomas Rei returned one of these dog tags to relatives who visited his museum.
