USS Massachusetts BB-59
Her wartime crew had held annual reunions since 1945 and lobbied to save their ship as a memorial. They raised enough money to bring Big Mamie to Fall River in June 1965. She was opened to the public two months later. Now the centerpiece of Fall River's revitalized waterfront and one of the five National Historic Landmark ships at Battleship Cove.

PT Boat Museum
The PT Boat Museum encompasses two areas of Battleship Cove. On shore is a Quonset hut displaying PT-796 and PT-617 plus other artifacts. Aboard USS Massachusetts BB-59 is a display of over 4,000 square feet are devoted to the forty-five Motor Torpedo Boat Squadrons (MTBS) during World War II
