George Bush Gallery
This is the main museum building, that contains its historical exhibits and smaller items. Several rooms are created as impressive full sized dioramas of events, including the Japanese mini-sub launching to attack Pearl Harbor and standing on the deck of the USS Hornet for the take off of B-25 on the "Doolittle Raid" over Japan.

Saburo
Sakai's Flight Helmet and Goggles
This flight helmet and goggles was
worn by Japanese Zero pilot, Saburo Sakai on August 7, 1942 mission to Guadalcanal. On this mission he was
wounded in his eye when bullets three SBDs he attacked from the rear hit his plane. Wounded and flying a damaged fighter, he flew all the way back to Rabaul alone and landed safely. Also displayed is a silver belt buckle with a tiger given to Sakai as a good luck gift. Sakai donated these items to the museum when he passed away in 2000.
Pacific Combat Zone (Museum Extension)
This extension is two blocks from the main museum. It houses their collection of large artifacts, including
a LVT landing craft, M3A1 Stuart Tank, Japanese Tanks, M3 half-track, 105mm howitzer,
British 25 pounder cannon, plus other artifacts brought back from
Pacific War battlefields including Japanese tanks, antiaircraft
guns and more. A guided tour is given hourly during museum hours.
