Devil At My Heels
A Heroic Olympian's Astonishing Story of Survival as a Japanese POW in World War II

Forward by Senator John McCain.

This is the autobiography of Louis Zamperini, a USC runner who participated in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. During World War II, he was a B-24 navigator in the 7th Air Force (7th AF), 11th Bombardment Group (11th BG).

The book details his service, including the mission when he and his crew crashed on a search mission in B-24D "Green Hornet". Lost at sea, he was captured by the Japanese and survived as a POW in Japan after great tribulations.

Also available is ahardcover 1st edition: Devil At My Heels
