The book tells the story of Commonwealth pilots of the FAA. In the Pacific that participated in strikes against Sumatra, Leyte and Okinawa and finally attacks against the Japanese home islands. During the Pacific War, the main British aircraft carrier was HMS Indomitable with the 5th Fighter Wing.
