The 'Letter' Batteries
The History of the 'Letter' Batteries in World War II

This book covers the history of the Australian Army coastal defense batteries that defended New Guinea during World War II at Port Moresby and Milne Bay in New Guinea. Batteries consisted of 6" guns or 155mm Howitzers in emplacements. The book is partly a unit history and personal experiences of the author.
