Letters from the Papuan Bush 1942-1946 This book is a compilation of personal letters written by Anglican missionary, Reverend Stephen Romney Gill written during World War II. On July 21, 1924 he established an Anglican mission at Duvira. During 1942, he aided nine American aviators that crashed in the vicinity and evaded Japanese forces.
