PT Boats in the United States Navy
The book begins with a foreword by U.S. President John F. Kenned who was formally a PT Boat captain in the South Pacific in command of PT-109 until sunk on August 2, 1943 then was in command of PT-59 between September 1943 until November 1943.
This is a massive volume, the book includes many interesting appendixes: a detailed index, listings of PT-Boat crews losts and ships and text notes.
This book is a reprint published by the PT Boaters Association. An invaluable history of WWII PT-Boat operations worldwide, it is a volume anyone interested this detailed story will be interested in.
