Wartime History Daihatsu-class Landing Craft placed inside the Barge Tunnel (Landing Craft Protection Cave) at Karavia and could be winched along a track down a ridge to be launched or retrived from Karavia Bay. At the end of the Pacific War, one of four abandoned inside the tunnel. Wreckage This is the first of four Daihatsu landing craft inside the Barge Tunnel (Landing Craft Protection Cave) at Karavia. Nearest to the entrance, it is badly rushed with the ramp portion nearly level with the ground and many parts removed. The stern section remains largely intact and the wheel remains abehind the armor shield. Contribute
