Wartime History
Transported to Kiska Harbor. Stored in the submarine pens on a marine rail road line at Kiska Submarine Base off Kiska Harbor.

Prior to the Japanese withdrawal from Kiska on July 23, 1943, each mini submarine was disabled by the explosion of its internal scuttling charge that exploded the hull outward and disabled the submarine.

Wreckage
Discovered by Allied forces when they occupied the area. Today, no trace remains.
