Tank History Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as Type 95 Ha Go Light Tank manufacture number unknown. Wartime History This tank was shipped to Ponape Island and survived until the end of the Pacific War. During September 1945 abandoned near Kolonia on the Eischarts / Adams Property. Wreckage This tank remained in situ where it was abandoned. In 1995 the Adams Brothers Corporation decided to cut the hillside level and the tanks were exposed and hauled out and put in a line. Restoration This tank was selected as a basis for restoration by Stan Gajda. This tank was designated "8" by Stan Gajda with the number painted on the side of the turret and has smoke grenade launchers on the turret and was a commander's tank. Stan Gajda adds: "No. 8 will be the basis of a complete restoration because it is the commander's tank. Note the smoke grenade launchers on the turret." Contribute
