Tank History Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as a Type 95 Ha Go Light Tank manufacture number unknown. Transported to Rabaul. Likely assigned to the 8th Tank Regiment. Wartime History This tank was one of forty Japanese tanks that survived the Pacific War in the Rabaul area. During September 1945 surrendered to the Australian Army at Rapopo. Afterwards, the tank was demilitarized with the main gun and machine guns removed. Display This tank is displayed outdoors in the front yard of the Kokopo Museum. The turret is missing and the front armor. Both treads are complete. Contribute
