Background
Headquarters Squadron (HQ) of of the 312th Bombardment Group in the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF). On December 6, 1943 redesignated 312th Bombardment Group (312th BG) and sent overseas to the South West Pacific Area (SWPA).

Wartime History
On January 1, 1944 arrives Gusap Airfield in New Guinea.

On June 10, 1944 moves to Hollandia in western New Guinea.

PARTIAL HISTORY

On February 10, 1945 moves to Mangaldan Airfield on Luzon in the Philippines.

On April 19, 1945 moves to Floridablanca Airfield on Luzon in the Philippines.
