Wartime History Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as Type 92 I-Ke as a five ton prime mover. This prime mover was used to tow the Type 96 15cm howitzer. During late 1942, loaded onto a cargo ship and landed on western Guadalcanal. This prime mover was used to tow 15cm howitzers until abandoned at Poha on the western side of the Poha River. On January 23, 1943 captured by the U.S. Army. Wreckage Several prime movers are abandoned at Poha. Each tractor shows evidence of being damaged or disabled. Peter Flahavin adds: "They must have been abandoned for lack of fuel. It looked like they had been disabled by the Japanese with grenades." Contribute
