Aircraft History
Built by Mitsubishi or Nakajima. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as A6M Zero manufacture number unknown.

Wartime History

Assigned to an unknown Kōkūtai (Air Group) based at Rabaul.

Mission History
During late 1943 or 1944, this Zero force landed at Kerevat Airfield.

Wreckage
This Zero was abandoned at Kerevat Airfield. On October 30, 1945 this Zero was photographed by the Australian Army and had the propeller bent backwards from the landing and had rectangular pieces cut out of the wreckage and the rudder fabric was missing.
