Aircraft History Built by Douglas. Delivered to the U.S. Navy (USN) as AD-2 Skyraider bureau number unknown. Wartime History During the Korean War, assigned to the U.S. Navy (USN) or U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). Assigned to an unknown squadron. No known markings. This Skyraider crashed or was abandoned in North Korea. Wreckage This Skyraider is displayed at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation Museum (North Korean War Museum) in Pyongyang. During the 2000s, this plane was displayed indoors, atop frames, elevating it above ground level. missing the propeller, canopy, tail vertical and outer wing panels. The rear fuselage is broken behind the cockpit and forward of the tail stabilizers. The underside of the right wing has a pair of bomb racks. After a museum renovation in 2013, moved to an outdoor display under cover. Contribute
