Aircraft History Built by Boeing at Seattle. Constructors Number 2441. On March 5, 1942 delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) and flown to Lowry Field. On April 11, 1942 flown to McClellan Airfield. Wartime History On April 16, 1942 flown to Hickam Field and assigned to the 7th Air Force (7th AF). Afterwards ferried across the Pacific with B-17E 41-2437 and B-17E 41-2652 across the Pacific to Australia arriving April 22, 1942. Assigned to the 5th Air Force (5th AF), 19th Bombardment Group (19th BG). On December 27, 1942 flown to Nadi Airfield. Assigned to the 13th Air Force (13th AF). Later, flown back to the United States. On September 10, 1945 placed into storage at Altus AFB. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
