Aircraft History Built by Curtiss-Wright. Constructor Number 33414. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as C-46D-15-CU Commando serial number 44-78018. No known nickname or nose art. This C-46 was assigned to the 605th ACS at Howard AFB. Afterwards, donated to the USAF Museum. Display This C-46 is displayed at the United States Air Force Museum (USAF Museum) in the World War II Gallery. Painted in Air Transport Command (ATC) markings. On the left side of the fuselage is displayed a Clarkair Airborne Tractor, unloading marston matting.
