The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located in Dayton, Ohio. Also known as the United States Air Force Museum, USAF Museum. The museum has the U.S. Air Force collection of aircraft, artifacts and displays related to the earliest days of U.S. Army aviation followed by U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC) and U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) during World War II. The museum also covers the formation of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and the Korean War, Vietnam War and present day conflicts. This page highlights items in the collection related to World War II Pacific and the Korean War. At this location is also the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF).

The aircraft is one of 26 ordered by the USAAF during 1944. Operated from Eglin AFB until March 1955. Acquired by the United States Air Force (USAF Museum).

The World War II section includes an exhibit Balloon Bombs: Japan's Answer To Doolittle that includes a piece of a Japanese balloon bombincluding a piece of paper skin and two displays.

Displayed in the Korean War Gallery painted as F-86A 49-1236 piloted by Lt. Col. Bruce Hinton 4th FG who claimed the first MiG victory.

MiG-15bis 2015357 Nose 2057
On September 21, 1953 piloted by Lt. No Kum-Sok defected to South Korea, acquired November 1957 displayed in Korean War Gallery.

Displayed at the museum. Painted in the markings of a Invader from the 34th Bomb Squadron flying night intruder missions.
