Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank, California. Constructors Number 8487. Delivered to the U.S. Army.

Owned by John Yandell and registered with the FAA as NX66678. Nicknamed "Country Boy II". In 1947, purchased by James L. Bledsoe, Miami, FL, and nicknamed "City Slicker".

During 1948 to 1960 assigned to the Fuerza Aerea Hondurena (Honduran Air Force) as FAH505. During 1960, purchased by Bob Bean Aircraft, Blythe, CA and placed into storage.

Display
During 1961, aquired by the USAF Museum and displayed in the World War II gallery. Painted in the marakings of P-38J Lightning 42-67855 code KI-W.
