This padded leather helmet was made by an Australian shoemaker. Kyro wore
this helmet flying P-39 Airacobras and P-47D Thunderbolt 42-22626 in New Guinea. Donated by Eric
Kyro of the 41st
Fighter Squadronn (41st FS).
