Aircraft History Built by Douglas Aircraft Company. Constructors Number unknown. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as C-47 Skytrain serial number unknown. Ferried overseas via Hickam Field then across the Pacific to Australia. Wartime History This C-47 was abandoned at Tadji Airfield. Wreckage This C-47 remains in situ in a boneyard area at Tadji Airfield. The fuselage is broken in two pieces behind the cockpit with the nose section nearby and the other half includes the tail section with the stabalizers removed. Contribute
