Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank. Constructors Number 414-6490. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as RA-29 serial number 41-37001. Assigned Royal Air Force (RAF) serial number FH200. Disassembled and shipped to Australia part of defense aid.

Wartime History
On May 6, 1942 received by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) and reassembled. On June 3, 1942 assigned to 1 Air Depot (1 AD) then five days later assigned to 5 Air Depot (5 AD). On July 28, 1942 assigned to No. 6 Squadron. On October 8, 1942 to 3 Air Depot (3 AD).

Assigned to No. 6 Squadron on October 29, 1942, to 5 AD on November 7, 1942 then returned on December 16, 1942. Nicknamed "Justice Inevitable". On December 19, 1942 to 12 Repair Salvage Unit (12 RSU). On December 21, 1942 assigned to No. 6 Squadon.

On January 17, 1943 during the Japanese air raid on Turnbull Field (No. 3 Strip) near Milne Bay damaged duiring a Japanese bombing raid. Afterwards repaired by 3 Air Depot (3 AD) then returned to the squadron by February 12, 1943.

On April 6, 1943 assigned to 1 OTU. On September 25, 1943 assigned to No. 2. Squadron. On October 13, 1943 assigned to 2 AD for repairs to wrinkles in the skin beyond normal limits. On January 31, 1944 assigned to 1 OTU.

On August 8, 1944 allocated to Australian National Airlines (ANA) for conversion into an aerial ambulance at Parafield Airfield. On October 31, 1944 assigned to 2 AAU. On August 27, 1945 assigned to 2 AD. On Noveber 18, 1945 placed into storage.

Postwar
On Septemer 24, 1947 sold as war surplus to Macquarie Grove Flying School. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
