Aircraft History Built by Mitsubishi. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 97 Heavy Bomber / Ki-21-II Sally manufacture number 3231. Wartime History Assigned to the 14th Hiko Sentai (14th Flying Regiment). No known tail number or markings. Mission History On June 16, 1943 crashed on Hanesavo Island in the Florida Island Group. Wreckage The crash site was investigated by Allied Technical Intelligence Unit (ATIU) as "Sally Mark 2" with serial number (manufacture number) 3231. Assigned reference code SU 1813.
