Location
Hanesavo Island is located at the northwest edge of the Florida Island Group (Florida Islands) in the Solomon Islands. Also known as Hanesavu Island or Danisavo Island. To the southeast is Florida Island (Nggela Sule). Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate (BSIP). Today located in Central Province in the Solomon Islands.
