Aircraft History Built by Kawasaki. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF). It is unclear if this plane was a Type 2 Two-Seat Fighter Toryu / Ki-45 (Nick) or Type 99 Light Bomber Kyu Kyu Sohkei / Ki-48 (Lily). Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Hiko Sentai. No known tail code or markings. Mission History This Nick crashed onto a hillside near Mindiri inland from the north coast of New Guinea. Wreckage This aircraft crashed into the side of a hill covered with kunai grass. The center section is burned from the crash leaving only the wings and burned out center section. Contribute
