Aircraft History Built by Mitsubishi at the Oe-machi plant during middle April 1943. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 100 Command Reconnaissance Aircraft Shinshitei / Ki-46-II Dinah manufacture number 2417. Wartime History Assigned to an unknown unit. No known markings. Mission History This Dinah crashed near Boe (Mboe) on the south central coast of Choiseul Island. Wreckage Between January 21 - February 19, 1944 surveyed by Allied Technical Intelligence Unit (ATIU). The wreckage was partially covered by sand and partially covered by water at high tide and deemed to have crashed a long time previously.
