Aircraft History
Built by Kawasaki. True serial number 252. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Kawasaki Type 99 Light Bomber Kyu Kyu Sohkei / Ki-48 (Lily) manufacture number 1252.

Wartime History
Assigned to an unknown Hiko Sentai (Flying Regiment) in New Guinea. This bomber had green upper surfaces with a vertical white stripe on the rear fuselage. The top of the tail had "52" in white. During 1943, destroyed parked at Lae Airfield.

Wreckage
This Lily was abandoned at Lae Airfield. By September 1943 only the tail section remained with tail number 52. The front half was destroyed, likely by Allied air raids. Nearby was the tail wreckage of G6M1-L Betty 714. During late September 1943, captued by the Australian Army and was among the Japanese aircraft captured at Lae Airfield. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
