Aircraft History Built by Nakajima during late March 1943. Uncoded serial number 175. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Army Type 100 Heavy Bomber Donryu / Ki-49-II (Helen) manufacture number 3175. Wartime History On April 6, 1944 recieved by 14th Air Repair Depot at Hollandia. Assigned to the 20th Dokuritsu Hiko Chutai (20th Independent Flying Company). No known tail code or markings. Ultimate fate unknown. Richard Dunn adds: "The low serial number of this aircraft plus its receipt from a repiar organization hints to me it might have been a bomber damaged/repaired and relegated to transport duty.
