Aircraft History Built by Mikoyan and Gurevich Design Bureau as МиГ-15bis / MiG-15bis serial number unknown. This jet has an unknown history. During the early 1990s, acquired by Steven Gray in the United Kingdom (UK). During 1993, traded to the Australian War Memorial (AWM) in exchange for RAAF Beaufort from Papua New Guinea (PNG) by Ian Whitney and Ki-43 Oscars wreckage recovered from Papua New Guinea (PNG) in a trade overseen by Senior Curator of Technology John White and Robert Greinert. Display The MiG-15 fuselage is displayed in the Korean War Gallery in the Australian War Memorial (AWM). The rear fuselage, tail and wings are stored at Treloar Technology Centre Australian War Memorial Annex (AWM Annex).
