Aircraft History
Built by Boeing. Constructors Number 1911. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC) as P-26A Peashooter serial number 33-135.

On October 9, 1934 written off at Mt Clemons, Michigan. Afterwards, repaired. During 1937 shipped to Panama and operated by the Panama Canal Air Force (6th Air Force). On May 11, 1943 to Fuerza AƩrea Guatemalteca (Guatemala Air Force) and operated in Guatemala with serial number FAG 44 and later FAG 0816.

By 1988, acquired by the National Air & Space Museum (NASM) and stored in the NASM Paul E. Garber Facility for storage and restoration in the markings of the in 34th Pursuit Squadron (34th PS) with tail number 7 with the squadron insignia on the fuselage.

Display
Since the early 2000, displayed at NASM Udvar-Hazy Center at the second level suspended from the ceiling above the SR-71A Blackbird.
