Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank. Constructors Number 2258. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-38J-10-LO Lightning serial number 42-67747. Disassembled and shipped overseas to the South Pacific (SOPAC) and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 13th Air Force (13th AF). Likely assigned to the 18th Fighter Group (18th FG) or 347th Fighter Group (347th FG). No known nickname or nose art.

Mission History
During early 1944, force landed or crashed in the Solomon Islands, likely on Guadalcanal. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
