Built by Lockheed in Burbank. Lockheed Constructors Number 080-1050. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-80A-1-LO Shooting Star serial number 44-85027.

In early August 1945, photographed at Burbank Airfield with Lockheed test pilot James "Jimmie" J. Mattern and Major Richard I. Bong. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped.
