Aircraft History Built by Lockheed in Burbank. Lockheed Constructors Number 080-1050. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-80A-1-LO Shooting Star serial number 44-85027. In early August 1945, while parked at Burbank Airfield appears in the background of a photograph next to P-80A Shooting Star 44-85027 with Lockheed test pilot James "Jimmie" J.
