Aircraft History Built by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation at San Diego. Delivered to the U. S Navy (USN) as PBY-5 Catalina Bureau Number 2303. Wartime History Assigned to Patrol Wing 10 (Pat Wing 10) to Patrol Squadron 101 (VP-101) with squadron number Ex-22-P-11 with tail number 11. No known nickname or nose art. Mission History While operating from the seaplane ramp at Halong Seaplane Base, this PBY was badly damaged during a Japanese air raid. On January 25, 1942 written off as beyond salvage and abandoned.
