Delivered to thr Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as CA-9 Wirraway serial number A20-504. Wartime History On March 8, 1942 assigned to 1 Air Depot (1 AD). On March 20, 1942 assigned to 5 SFTS. During December 14-28, 1942 modified by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). On January 8, 1943 assigned to No. 4 Squadron. Wartime History On February 3, 1943 took off from Berry Drome (12 Mile Drome) near Port Moresby piloted by F/Lt Agg with observer P/O Walker on a reconnaissance mission. While landing at Wau Airfield, this aircraft overturned. Both crew were uninjured in the crash landing. On February 7, 1943 assigned to 15 Repair Salvage Unit (7 RSU) and stricken from charge.
