Location Lat 7° 13' 20S Long 112° 42' 41E Morokrembangan Seaplane Base is located at Morokrembangan to the west of Soerabaja. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in East Java Province on Java in Indonesia. Construction Built prewar by the Dutch. Morokrembangan seaplane base included repair and matience facilities. Wartime History Used by the Marineluchtvaartdienst (Netherlands Naval Aviation Service) by the Marine-Luchtvaartdienst (MLD). During 1938-1939 Dornier Do 24 flying boats were shipped to this base and reassembled. During 1938, a flying school was established at Morokrembangan. On February 3, 1942 Japanese aircraft attack Morokrembagan Seaplane Base. Destroyed by the air raid is Do 24K-1 X-6, Do 24K-1 X-30, Do 24K-1 X-31 and Do 24K-2 X-37.
