Location Arakabesan Seaplane Base was located in the northeast corner of Arakabesan Island (Ngerekebesang) in Koror State in Palau (Belau). Also known as "Northeast Seaplane Base". Construction Built by by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) with base facilities were located on Arakabesan Island. Wartime History During the Pacific War, used as a Japanese Navy seaplane base and repair facility for E13A Jake floatplanes. American missions against Arakabesan August 28, 1944 - April 19, 1945 Today The seaplane ramp remains intact. Contribute
