On Arakabesan Island are indicated hangars and anti-aircraft guns associated with the Arakabesan Seaplane Base (Southwest Seaplane Base) and Arakabesan Seaplane Base (Northeast Seaplane Base). At the northern tip of Malakai Island is a draw bridge connecting to the western end of Koror Island (Oreor). At the bottom center is the tip of Urukthapel Island.
