American missions against Fabrica and Fabrica Airfield
November 6, 1944–August 5, 1945
October 19, 1944
(USN) Two strikes against Negros and Panay, the first strikes against the Western Visayas to feel out the enemy, but few Japanese were seen in the air. The first strike at 6:30am by 48 Wildcats and 24 Avengers. The second strike at 12:30 by 28 fighters and 15 bombers. Ki-21 Sally attempting to land at Fabrica Airfield was shot down by VF-35. Two fighters shot down other planes. Hellcat was shot down at Alicante, the pilot bailing out too low and hit the ground before his parachute opened. October 23, 1944
(USN) Carrier planes from USS Chenango (CVE-28) claim nine planes parked at Fabrica Airfield. Lost is a Wildcat from VF-26. (Reference: pages 137, 430 footnote 36)

November 6, 1944
(FEAF) B-24s strike Fabrica Airfield.

November 7, 1944
(FEAF) B-24s and fighter-bombers hit Fabrica Airfield.

November 13, 1944
(FEAF) B-24s pound Fabrica Airfield.

December 1, 1944
(FEAF) B-24 raids Fabrica Airfield.

December 17, 1944

(FEAF) B-25s from 38th BG strike Fabrica Airfield and experience anti-aircraft fire. B-25 piloted by Oliver Filley was damaged by AA gunfire and was severely damaged but managed to fly back to base and landed safely but was scrapped due to the damage.

December 19, 1944
(FEAF) Fighters sweep over Fabrica. B-25s from 38th BG bomb Fabrica Airfield and experienced anti-aircraft fire. Over the target, one B-25 was hit by 40mm shell in the left vertical tail forcing the crew to jettison all unnecessary equipment and flew at sea level to Tacloban Airfield and managed to land safely and flew back to Morotai aboard another B-25 from the squadron. (FEAF) B-24s pound Fabrica Airfield.

(FEAF) B-24s support the ground action south of Fabrica.

(FEAF) B-24s pound Japanese positions south of Fabrica.
