Location
Naguilian Airfield was located at Naguilian to the east of San Fernando.

Construction
Built prior to the war.

Wartime History
On December 22, 1941 the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) 9th Infantry Regiment "Kamijima Detachment" landed at Bauang (Bouang) and an element advanced eastward to capture Naguilian and Naguilian Airfield then onward to capture Baguio two days after the initial landing.

Immediately, Naguilian Airfield was used by the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as a forward airfield for light bombers to support operations on Luzon.
